Let Me Introduce Myself.

You can see frrom this photograph that I look just like every other little boy that you will see as you go about your daily business, and why shouldn't I be.

Because I was born with Partial Trisomy 13 Deficiency, it doesn't make me any different.

OK, I may have some eyesight issues and my speech may be a little bit different to others of my own age, but I more than make up for that by being more advanced in some areas than other kids of a similar age.

Through this website, I hope to reveal to you who and what I am, what happens in my life on a daily basis, what I have been through so far in my life and what exactly Trisomy 13 Deficiency is to those that have never heard of it, and what lasting effects it has had on me.
Hey, this is me when I was out with my mum, dad and little sister Lacee on holiday in Egypt, taken back in 2011.

Information Introduction

Trisomy 13 Deficiency is not quite as rare as a lot of you may think, and in fact, statistics reveal that 1 in 16,000 newborn children will become affected by this.

Yes it makes life difficult for me and my mum & dad at times, but I am not an alien as some people may think. I have feelings just like anyone else and my thoughts are identical to those that you have.

Hopefully through this website, I will be able to explain the difficulties that I have on a daily basis, and what my mum and dad have to go through, in order to just see me through a normal day in my life. I have various difficulties, the most apparent being identification of people beyond a distance of a few metres, communicating with them and explaining myself, that's all.
